THAT Council hire Waterhouse Executive Search to assist in filling the vacancy left due to the resignation of the CAO/Clerk, in accordance with their presentation and proposal to Council at the special closed meeting on July 30th, 2024; and THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute a contract in accordance with the Marmora and Lake Employment Bylaw; and THAT the Personnel Committee act as the point of contact and enter into discussions to implement said contract; and THAT the Personnel Committee provide regular updates and recommendations to Council on the progress of the consultant's recruitment process; and THAT any and all communication received from the consultant will be shared with Council as a whole; AND FURTHER THAT all decisions, interviews and the selection of a candidate be completed by Council as a whole, who shall convene as a Selection Panel, as per the Marmora and Lake Employment Bylaw.
