Planning Meeting

THAT the agenda of the Planning Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, be approved as presented.

THAT the foregoing minutes of the Planning Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake held Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, be approved as presented.

THAT the County of Hastings Planning Staff Report dated February 3, 2025, regarding rezoning of lands legally described as Part of Lot 11, Concession 3, Lot 98 on Registrar’s Compiled Plan 2132, Lot 26 on Plan 351; Page 2 of 4 Planning Meeting February 18, 2025 AND THAT the Zoning Bylaw Amendment 2025-13P, regarding the rezoning of lands legally described as Part of Lot 11, Concession 3, Lot 98 on Registrar’s Compiled Plan 2132, Lot 26 on Plan 351, be recommended for Council adoption.

1. That the Planning Committee receive and approve the planning staff report dated January 24th, 2025. 2. That costs to the value of $1,200.00 cash in lieu of parkland be paid under Sec.33 (8) of the Act. 3. That all taxes be paid in full prior to granting consent. 4. That safe site entrance be approved on the proposed severed lands, including removal of brush along sightlines, as directed by the Manager of Transportation Services. 5. That road widening is requested for the entire frontage of the severed and retained lands, as deemed necessary by the Manager of Transportation Services. 6. That the severed lot be rezoned from Marginal Agricultural (MA) and Environmental Protection (EP) to Rural Residential (RR).
