THAT the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, be approved as presented.

THAT Council direct staff to provide a report at the August 5th meeting with further financial analysis of Magwood's Martial Arts' request for rental fee reductions beyond what they are currently eligible for through the Municipal Facility Rental Fee Waiver & Reduction Request Policy.

THAT the foregoing minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake held Tuesday, June 17th, 2025, be approved as presented.

THAT the staff reports for the second quarter of 2025 be received for information.

THAT Council accept this “Marmora Common Cemetery Restoration Work” report, dated July 15th, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT Council approve the use of $4,000.00 from the Cemetery Reserve, and $5,000.00 from the General Reserve, for the restoration of three monuments in Marmora Common Cemetery in the 2025 season.

Page 3 of 9 Council Meeting July 15, 2025 THAT Council receive this “Request for Reduction of Taxes, Chapter 25, Section 357 of the Municipal Act, 2001, for 1178 Deloro Road” report, dated July 15th, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT Council approve the request of Judith Dwyer for a reduction of taxes for the year 2025 in the amount of $1,522.82, for 1178 Deloro Road, as per Section 357 of the Municipal Act.

THAT Council receive this “Hydro One Ice Storm 2025: Recovery Grant” report, dated July 15, 2025, for information.

WHEREAS the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake recently experienced a severe ice storm from March 28th to March 30th, 2025, and has experienced incremental operating and capital costs far exceeding the 2025 budget, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake hereby requests that the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing activate the Municipal Ice Storm Assistance program; AND FURTHER THAT the Municipal Treasurer, Nancy Sinclair, be given delegated authority to verify and attest to the accuracy of the attached claim.

Page 4 of 9 Council Meeting July 15, 2025 THAT Council receive the “Model of Land Use Planning Services - Marmora and Lake” report, dated July 15, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT Council direct staff to “opt-in” to Hastings County’s Streamlined Planning Approach & Resource Centralization (SPARC) Program, enter into a Planning Service Agreement with Hastings County for all planning services for the Municipality of Marmora and Lake, and to bring this agreement back to Council for final approval.

THAT Council accept this “Fire Services Agreement Between the Township of Limerick and the Municipality of Marmora and Lake” report, dated July 15, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT Bylaw 2025-47, being a bylaw to authorize an agreement between the Corporation of the Township of Limerick and the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for fire protection services, be recommended for Council adoption.

THAT Council receive this "CAO Status Update July 2025" report, dated July 15th, 2025, for information.

THAT the foregoing minutes and reports of the Committees and Boards listed are hereby received for information.

THAT Council declare the Marmora Agricultural Society's 135th Annual Fair, taking place from August 1-3, 2025, at the Marmora Fairgrounds, located at 28 Victoria Street, Marmora, of municipal significance, as per the iAGCO, thus permitting them to acquire a special liquor license for the event.

Being a bylaw to appoint an interim Fire Chief for the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.

Being a bylaw to authorize an agreement between the Corporation of the Township of Limerick and the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for fire protection services.

THAT staff follow the direction of Council made in closed session.

THAT Council direct staff to provide public notice on the municipal website about the proposed sale of four (4) acres of land in municipally owned Industrial Park, legally described as Part Lot 7, Concession 4, Plan 21R4587, being Part 1, on Plan 21R26950, and purchase by EMCON Services Inc., with a purchase price of $200,000.00, and a closing date of August 12th, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT Council direct staff to provide the disposition (sale) of land bylaw for final approval at the August 5th, 2025, Regular Meeting.

Being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Regular Meeting of Council held on the 15th day of July, 2025.
