THAT the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, be approved as presented.

THAT Council direct staff to obtain a formal quote and information from Marsh for a Public Facility Usage Liability Insurance Program, and provide a report back to Council.

THAT the foregoing minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake held October 1st, 2024, be approved as presented.

THAT the foregoing minutes of the Special Regular Meetings of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake held September 27th, October 2nd, October 4th, and October 7th, 2024, be approved as presented.

THAT Council receive the Girl Guides Rental Request Report; AND THAT Council direct staff to apply the User Fee Bylaw should the Marmora Girl Guides Unit book a municipal facility this season.

THAT the staff reports for the third quarter of 2024 be received for information.

THAT the Municipal Office be closed from December 24th, 2024, at noon, to January 1st, 2025, inclusive, reopening at 8:00 a.m. on January 2nd, 2025.

THAT the 2025 Council Meeting dates set out in the attachment to this report be approved.

THAT Council receive the Agreements Summary – Notice of Motions report as presented.

Page 4 of 8 Council Meeting October 15, 2024 THAT Council receive the report for information; AND FURTHER THAT Council approve Option 2 and extend the contract for the operation and maintenance of Booster Park for the next three years, ending November 1st, 2027, to EJ Maintenance, in the amounts of $75,000 for 2025, $77,000 for 2026 and $79,000 for 2027, all plus HST.

THAT Council receive the report for information; AND THAT Council approve Option 2, the enactment of the attached contract dated October 15th, 2024, with Raymore Harris, for the collection, haulage, and disposal of waste for a three-year period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028, including a provision to extend for a further one year, to June 30, 2029, if both parties agree.

THAT Council award the Proposal from Earle Excavating to provide Winter Maintenance services for Lake Township on a three (3) year contract commencing November 1, 2024, to April 15, 2025, through to spring of 2027, at a cost of $152,900.00, plus HST, or $27,800.00, plus HST, per month, with a 3% increase per year.

THAT the foregoing minutes and reports of the Committees and Boards listed are hereby received for information.

THAT Council direct staff to adopt the Economic Development Advisory Committee's Ambassador Program and to include program information on the new Economic and Community Development & Tourism website.

THAT Council direct staff to defer the request to paint or replace the roof on the Pearce Mill structure to 2025 budget discussions, and that staff evaluate the issue in the meantime.

THAT the correspondence of the Clerk is hereby received.

A bylaw of the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake to authorize the borrowing upon amortizing debentures in the principal amount of $787,984.67 towards the cost of 2 tandem plow trucks.

THAT Council will proceed into a closed meeting session under the Municipal Act, Section 239 (2):  (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;  (d) labour relations or employee negotiations; o Re: Department Operations
