THAT the Agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, be approved as presented.

THAT Council grant permission to Debbie Burtch to re-establish the Marmora Farmers Market, located at the municipal parking lot on the corners of Highway 7 and Bursthall Street, commencing in 2025, on Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for the months of May to October; AND THAT Council direct staff to provide a report outlining insurance requirements for vendors and a site plan.

THAT Council direct staff to provide a report at the next meeting regarding Barbara Davies' request for free use of the Lions Hall for the Marmora Unit of Girl Guides.

THAT the foregoing minutes of the Special Regular Meetings of the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake held August 9th, August 14th, August 18th, September 3rd, and September 5th, 2024, be approved as presented.

THAT Council approve Community Care for Central Hasting's request to use the Lions Hall free of charge for their free Community Social for Seniors events on January 15th and March 12th, 2024.

THAT Council direct staff to review the User Fee Bylaw as soon as possible and provide a report in preparation for 2025 budget discussions.

THAT Council direct staff to provide a report before the end of this year highlighting the costs and implications of leaving the Building Inspection Services Board and hiring a Chief Building Official.

THAT Council grant permission to The Rally of the Tall Pines to run two passes of the rally on the Old Hastings Road on November 23, 2024, that the Rally of the Tall Pines agrees to be responsible to repair any damage to the road or property that occurs during the rally, that the Manager of Transportation be advised of the dates and times in order to complete an inspection before and after the event, and that the Municipality of Marmora and Lake is not liable for any damages resulting from the lack of guide rails at the approaches to the Glanmire Bridge.

THAT Council receive the letter for information.

THAT Council approve the request of the Marmora Crowe Valley Lions Club to close Forsyth Street on October 31, 2024, from 4:30-8:00 p.m. for their Trunk & Page 7 of 9 Council Meeting October 1, 2024 Treat event, and direct the Lions Club to notify emergency services of the closure.

THAT the correspondence of the Clerk is hereby received.

Being a bylaw to authorize the signing of the Municipal Funding Agreement for the transfer of funds under the Canada Community Building Fund (CCBF), effective April 1, 2024.

Being a bylaw authorizing the Municipality of Marmora and Lake to enter into an agreement with Investing in the Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) Public Transit System

Being a bylaw to appoint an Interim Chief Administrative Officer/Deputy Clerk for the Corporation of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.

Being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the Regular Meeting of Council held on the 1st day of October, 2024.
